Have you been so busy living life that you have forgotten how to engage in meaningful conversations with the one closest to you?
If so, you are not alone.
In every relationship, we bring both our beauty and brokenness. It's normal for couples to experience disconnection, whether they are newly married or have been together for years.
Join our 1.5 day, couple's retreat with relationship specialist Sharon Hicks, LPCC, Patterson Hicks, and Stephanie Eriksen. We integrate research proven methods to help couples learn to understand disconnected cycles and foster a secure bond by exploring their unique storylines. More than just a workshop, we provide an experience where individuals and couples leave feeling empowered and encouraged as they discover their unique roadmap to healing connection. Lasting change is possible.
You can actively be involved in changing the dynamic of your relationship.
During the retreat, you'll learn to identify and break negative communication patterns, interpret bids for connection, and engage in guided private conversations. Leave with new insights and tools to strengthen your bond and deepen your connection as you learn new moves in your relationship dance.
It's never too late to learn a new dance!

- Who would benefit from attending the Choreography of Connection retreat?Couples in a committed relationship who are invested in strengthening their relationship. These couples may be experiencing mild to moderate distress due to feelings of emotional distance in their relationship, personality differences, life transitions, and perhaps have done some couple's counseling and want to deepen their connection.
- Who should NOT attend Choreography of Connection?Couple's experiencing current relationship distress such as affairs, addictions, or abuse. These issues are best supported in 1:1 settings and are NOT suitable for a group retreat setting.
- How many other couples will be at the retreat? We typically have between 8-12 couples participate at our retreats. We are intentional about limiting the size to allow for couples to have ample space for private, guided conversations and seat couples with their partners to encourage interactions throughout the weekend.
- I do not feel comfortable in a group setting. Will I have to share personal things in a group? We strive to maintain a culture of felt safety even in the group setting. The concepts we will discuss are based on high level ways we engage in relationships and are not focused on couples sharing intimate details of their relationships. You will have time to share with your partner in a 1:1 setting and in the large group simply about the process of learning new ways to engage in meaningful conversations. Each individual and couple is invited to share at the level of comfort.
